1. Introduction
Welcome to Ink & Paw. By accessing our services at 304 Essex Street, New York, or using our online booking platform, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a safe, professional, and loving environment for your pets and our staff.
2. Appointment & Cancellation Policy
We value your time and the time of our groomers. We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or profile changes. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost. No-shows will be charged the full service amount.
3. Pet Health & Vaccinations
For the safety of all pets in our care, Ink & Paw requires proof of current Rabies vaccinations for all dogs. We strongly recommend Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella vaccinations as well. Please inform our staff of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations your pet may have before the grooming session begins.
4. Behavioral & Aggressive Pets
The safety of our team is paramount. If a pet shows signs of extreme aggression or stress, Ink & Paw reserves the right to refuse or terminate the grooming session. In such cases, the owner will be responsible for the cost of work completed up to that point.
5. Matting & Skin Sensitivity
When a pet is severely matted, our priority is their comfort over aesthetics. Dematting can be painful and may cause skin irritation or nicks. In cases of severe matting, Ink & Paw may recommend a shorter breed-specific cut for the pet's wellbeing. An additional fee for labor-intensive dematting may apply.
